For those looking for a great all around treeless saddle, the Original Cheyenne from Barefoot Germany is for you!

This saddle weighs a mere 8 pounds without fittings.  Light enough for any woman or child to easily carry. Affordable, with quality to satisfy the most discriminating rider. The Cheyenne has now been styled with a higher, formed cantle made of polyurethane  foam.  This foam is thick, firm, yet forgiving to reduce pressure points from a hard formed cantle, which might occur when the rider sits more on top of the cantle than usual.

Features are:

• Black or Brown Nubuck leather.
• No break in period, no noisy squeaks!
• Synthetic fleece underlay
• Removable fiberglass form in the pommel
• Removable Thick polyurethane foam formed cantle
• Cantle is now higher for a deeper seat, and more rider security
• FIVE D rings (stainless steel)
• English billets for use with a dressage girth
• Billets are strong, thick nylon lined for safety
• Lightweight
• Can be used with Barefoot's western fenders, or english stirrup leathers.

Saddle comes in THREE sizes.

• Size 0, (black only) for children up to 12 years of age (special order allow 8-10 weeks)
• Size 1 comparable to a 15-15.5" western, or 16.5-17.5" english saddle
  • Seat area is approx 14" (measurement B below), overall length is approx 21" (measurement A)
• Size 2 comparable to a 16" or larger western, or 18-18.5" english saddle
  • Seat area is approx 15.5", overall length is approx 23"

We try to keep saddles in stock at all times.  Due to their popularity, sometimes saddles are not available immediately.

Unless otherwise specified, saddles take 5-6 business days to ship from the time your order is received. If there will be a delay beyond that, we will contact you immediately.
